Kult Koruth
Duo consisting of Prague-based drone musician Michael Nechvátal (Kult Masek) and visual artist and musician Anna Ruth (Koruth). Michael Nechvátal is a member of kraut trio Raw Deal, noise project Jasnovidec and hard core label Stoned To Death. Even in his solo work Nechvátal does not deny his fascination with German music of the 70s. But in his solo project Kult Masek and also in his duo Kult Koruth, he abandons the raw rhythmic motorik and replaces it with non-patetically melancholic synth passages through a desolate universe, which Anna complements with ethereal reverbed vocals.
