Kostel Nanebevzetí Panny Marie

The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary is a Roman Catholic church in the town of Blatná, Strakonice district.

Ecclesiastically, the church belongs to the parish of Blatná, which belongs to the vicariate of Strakonice and the diocese of České Budějovice. The Gothic church was built in 1444–1515 on the site of the original Romanesque church. In front of the church there is a separate bell tower, originally Baroque from 1723, rebuilt in Neo-Gothic style after a fire. It is protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic.
