Kościół św. Katarzyny Aleksandryjskiej i św. Małgorzaty

The church together with the Augustinian monastery is one of the best examples of medieval architecture in Poland. The soaring silhouette of the temple and the variety of forms and architectural details distinguish this ensemble in the European construction of the mature Gothic period. Despite numerous renovations in the course of history, the temple, both outside and inside, presents the beauty of Gothic forms, and together with the monastery it is a rich collection of unique works of Gothic art. In the cloisters of the cloister numerous Gothic wall paintings from the 15th and 16th centuries have been preserved.
