Korben Dallas
Korben Dallas was formed in 2010 in Bratislava. The band’s discography includes 10 albums, with which they transcend the boundaries of the independent scene. Even their debut album Pekné cesty (2011), which was recorded live at a concert, was nominated for the Radio_Head Awards in the Album of the Year category—the critics’ choice. The band made an even bigger impact with their second album, Karnevalová vrana, released in 2013 by Slnko Records. Karnevalová vrana reached number one on the album charts of the Slovak versions of iTunes and Spotify. At the 2013 Radio_Head Awards, Korben Dallas won awards for Best Album, Best Single (Otec) and Best Live Band.
Korben Dallas also enjoys collaborating with other musicians and bands. In the Czech Republic and Slovakia, they have performed several joint tours with the band Zrní, and recorded the duet Spolu with Jana Kirschner. At the Viva Musica! festival and later at the Pohoda festival, they performed accompanied by a symphony orchestra. In 2025, they successfully completed a sold-out tour with the band Billy Barman titled Netradičná rodina.
The band has performed at many leading Slovak and Czech festivals, such as Pohoda, Colours of Ostrava, Rock for People, and Grape. At these festivals, they regularly appear on the main stages.
Korben Dallas also gained significant visibility thanks to the Slovak crime series Za sklom, for which they composed and recorded the music, including the title track of the same name.
