Konrad Fischer Gallery

The Konrad Fischer Gallery has its main residency since 1967 in Düsseldorf and opened the second exhibition space in Berlin in 2007. Besides younger international artists a program of 50 years gallery history is presented here.

The founders Dorothee und Konrad Fischer invited the artists themselves to create projects instead of just displaying their art. This rather unusual way of proceeding led to an international network of artists and is the base for space related sculptures, paintings and installations.

Since the gallery was founded the program has continuously been extended. Tony Cragg, Harald Klingelhöller, Rita McBride, Thomas Ruff, Thomas Schütte, Jerry Zeniuk and a following generation of younger artists such as Guy Ben-Ner, Peter Buggenhout, Aleana Egan, Jim Lambie, Manfred Pernice, Magnus Plessen, Wolfgang Plöger, Gregor Schneider and Paloma Varga Weiszare connected to the gallery since then.
