Teachers’ Tour: The Day After Yesterday

This guided tour of Roman Ondak’s exhibition offers an introduction to the work of the contemporary Slovak artist, who continues the tradition of 1960s and 1970s conceptual art. His practice draws on everyday objects, situations, and materials, which he transforms into poetic and often ironic reflections on daily life. The exhibition presents a cross-section of his twenty-year career and also includes interactive installations. During the tour, the guide focuses on the perception of reality and time, and on how, through apparent ordinariness, deeper layers of human experience can be uncovered.
