Klubnacht: December + Gonno + Kosh + more
December is also the darkest month in Paris with its short days and long nights. Therefore an ideal moniker for Frenchman Tomas More. With his productions for Pinman, Mannequin and Helena Hauff's Return To Disorder he creates a dark, dystopian world between harsh EBM, techno and dark wave – a similar mixture can be expected from today's DJ set at Klubnacht.
Keep Hope Alive is the key track of Kosh's EP with the same name, released through Moroccan imprint Casa Voyager. It is a highly emotional, deep techno track that sound like it was produced during Detroit's best times. The EP is the highlight of young Casablanca-based artist Youssef Benjelloun's career so far, who has made himself a name as a talented producer of bleeping electro tracks and fine-tuned techno soul with three EPs. Kosh performs live at Panorama Bar today.
Besides house DJs like Mister Saturday Night, Lauer and Tornado Wallace, Japanese artist Gonno performs as well. Labels such as Mule Musiq and International Feel have been home to his sun-flooded, Balearic day dreams and melodic house music. Three years ago, Gonno released the Fantastic Planet EP in collaboration with Nick Höppner.
