Klub Za starou Prahu
Klub Za starou Prahu is a civic association dedicated to the protection of monuments in Prague since its founding in 1900, based in Prague's Mostecká street.
The club monitors in particular cases where building interventions in Prague are grossly endangering monuments or the city's skyline, and follows cases where an investor tries to enforce his plan, which is contrary to expert monument assessments. It is assisted in this activity by the high expertise of many of its members. Twice a year the club publishes the journal For Old Prague. Every year it awards a prize for a new building in a historic environment.
