Kino Tęcza

Kino Tęcza (Rainbow Cinema) is a legendary Żoliborz venue established nearly 100 years ago as a cinema theatre and, so to speak, by accident. When it turned out that the boiler room would take up less space, the free space was used as an auditorium, which was lacking in Żoliborz. Theatres, cinemas and independent art collectives have operated here. In 2020, the building became the property of the Andrzej Wajda Film Culture Centre. After renovation and modernisation, Tęcza will have a cinema with almost 200 seats and space for exhibitions and other cultural activities.
