Kino Agrafka

An intimate studio cinema in the centre of Krakow. The venue has a cinema tradition spanning several decades; the Zuch and Paradox cinemas previously existed here. In September 2009, the Edison Circus Film Culture Support Foundation opened the Agrafka cinema here. In June 2011, the Polish Film Institute awarded Agrafka the prize for the best cinema in Poland in 2010 for its activities promoting Polish film. In January 2012, the Agrafka cinema was admitted to the prestigious European cinema network—Europa Cinemas, and in August of the same year it joined the Polish Digital Cinema Network. Currently, the Agrafka cinema is equipped with state-of-the-art cinema equipment—a 2K digital cinema projector and Dolby Digital sound system.
