Kid Francescoli
Kid Francescoli is a French music project founded in 2002 in Marseille by musician Mathieu Hocine. From the outset, the project has focused on electropop and indie pop, gradually evolving into a creative platform with a rotating lineup of collaborators.
The debut album Kid Francescoli was released in 2006, followed by other recordings, including With Julia (2014), created in collaboration with singer Julia Minkin, and Play Me Again (2017), which expanded the project’s international reach. A defining moment in the project’s career was the single Moon (And It Went Like), which spread via social media and streaming platforms and was also used in audiovisual productions.
In the following period, the project continued its studio work with the albums Lovers (2020) and Sunset Blue (2023), on which it further develops a combination of electronic production, vocal lines, and pop structures.
