Tech house, Techno | Dream pop, ambient, glitch, techno and electronically mutated pop songs: The 28-year-old DJ, producer and musician Kelly Lee Owens from London defies conventional categorization attempts by not exposing herself and her art to any restrictions. On her self-titled debut album from 2017, Owens mixes dream pop with tribalistic-minimalist percussion, ambient structures with abstract, contradicting rhythms and string samples with glitchy beats.
