Kateřina Marie Tichá & Bandjeez
Czech singer-songwriter Kateřina Marie Tichá was born on 18 August 1994 in Vlasim. In 2013, she was nominated for the Czech Nightingale Award in the Discovery of the Year category, the same year she also started her ongoing collaboration with the then emerging band Jelen. In 2015 she released a five-song EP Otazníky and in 2020 her debut album Sami.
Her second studio album Plamen in 2024 somewhat sums up her collaboration with the band Bandjeez. The band had accompanied the singer's close colleague David Stypka, who died prematurely in January 2021. Tichá is again the sole author of all lyrics, while her SinglTon labelmate Tereza Balonová contributed to the music.
