Kassa Overall is a jazz musician, MC, singer, producer and drummer who combines avant-garde experimentation with hip-hop production techniques. Kassa Overall is a product of the New York jazz scene, staying true to the tradition of legendary drummers like Elvin Jones and Billy Hart. He has released four critically acclaimed albums in recent years: Go Get Ice Cream and Listen to Jazz, I think I'm good, Shades of Flu, a loose mixtape inspired by the classic Madlib project, and most recent Animals.
