KAFVKA
KAFVKA is a German crossover band from Berlin. The formation consists of the front singer Jonas Kakoschke, the bassist Philipp Lenk, the guitarist Oscar Ureta (since 2018) and the drummer Stephan Ifkovits (since 2016). From 2013 to 2015 Sascha Hornung played the drums and Martin Silber was the guitarist from 2013 to 2017.
The band formed in 2013 and released their Probe-Raum-EP in 2014 at the label Wolfpack Entertainment. 2016 their debut album *Hände Hoch! * was published under the same label. The album contains a cover version of the Rauch-Haus-Song by Ton Steine Scherben. The band changed the text so that it deals critically with the gentrification problem in Berlin. In early 2018, KAFVKA released their second studio album entitled 2084, a reference to Orwell's book 1984. KAFVKA caused a sensation especially with their single Alle Hassen Nazis, which deals with the current political situation in Germany.
