Júníus Meyvant

Júníus Meyvant announced details of an extensive European Headliner-Tour that will take place in February & March 2019. Following his reputation as an impressive live performer, he is supported on stage by a 7-member band (including a brass section), while the setlist is heavily influenced by the new album "Across The Borders", which debuted on the ninth of November and that should be released by the independent Icelandic label Record Records.

Recorded at the prestigious Hljóðriti Studio on the outskirts of Reykjavik, the richly orchestrated album covers a wide range of sounds and is flooded with soulful and charming melodies. In the eleven tracks, the natural warmth of the distinctive vocals of Júníus Meyvant is enhanced by a full set of strings and a brass ensemble.
