Jonáš Záborský Theater

The Jonáš Záborský Theater is a professional drama theater in Prešov, which belongs to the founding activities of the Prešov self-governing region. It was founded in 1944 as the Slovak Theater in Prešov and since then it has been one of the two largest theaters in the eastern Slovakia. It currently uses the Historic Building and the New Building with overall three stages.
