Jazz at the Old Town Square: Stefano Bollani Trio

Stefano Bollani will perform with his trio in Warsaw during the last concert of this year's Jazz at the Old Town Square Festival.

Stefano Bollani is a star of European jazz, a virtuoso of the Italian piano. He weaves a variety of styles into his improvised fantasies. He was already considered Europe's best jazzman in 2007 as the winner of the Hans Koller European Jazz Prize. In recognition of his services, he received an honorary doctorate from the Berklee College of Music in Boston. As a soloist he plays with symphony orchestras such as La Scala in Milan, Orchestre National de Paris, Gewandhaus in Leipzig under the baton of outstanding conductors. He writes books and realizes many theatre and film projects. He collaborates with the world's leading jazzmen, such as Chick Corea (the famous piano duet is the sixth project in his career), Pat Metheny, Richard Galliano, Enrico Rava.
