Jary Tauber

Jary Tauber is a Czech pop-rock singer and guitarist from Kladno.

According to his own words, he picked up the guitar for the first time at the age of 13 after attending a concert of the band Kiss, which was a great inspiration for him. Two years later he started playing with the band Kiss revival Prague. At the age of 17 he started studying at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory, where he studied rock guitar.

At the age of 18 he started playing with his first original band Plan B, with which they released an album in 2017. A year later, he was offered to perform as a duo with Petr Janda on his autumn American tour, followed by a tour of Australia and New Zealand in spring 2019. In 2020, a tour of Florida took place. The collaboration culminated in a collaborative single Tolikrát in 2022. In 2023, he accompanied Petr Janda on concerts in New York and New Jersey, where he was also given the opportunity to open for him with his own songs.

Since 2020, he has been focusing on his solo work. In April 2022, he released his debut album titled Tolikrát. In the same year, he won the award at the Legends of the Night Stream Awards in the Discovery of the Year category, presented by the Night Stream programme and Czech Radio 2. His second album Happyend was released in 2024.
