Jan Ptaszyn Wróblewski, one of the most important and deserved artists in the history of Polish jazz - an outstanding saxophonist (tenor and baritone), composer, arranger, conductor, publicist, radio journalist, music critic, pedagogue, master of ceremonies. He made his stage debut in 56 years (in the legendary Komedia sextet) and since then he has run dozens of bands: Polish Jazz Quartet, Jazz Studio of Polish Radio, Chałturnik, New Presentation, Grand Standard Orchestra, Made in Poland - it's just his random projects . He traveled nearly half the world, from Calcutta to Los Angeles, often participating in international ventures.
