James Blunt

Rock, Pop | James Blunt (born James Hillier Blount) is a British singer-songwriter. He became known in 2005 for his # 1 hit You're Beautiful. Blunt was a member of the British Army until 2002 and wrote the song No Bravery during his time in Kosovo. After he resigned his service as captain, he devoted himself completely to the music. Linda Perry, the former singer of 4 Non Blondes became aware of him and signed him on her label Custard Records under which he recorded his debut album Back to Beldam with producer Tom Rothrock. His debut song in the UK was High. In 2004, Blunt joined Elton John as a support act and soon after made his breakthrough with his single You're Beautiful. His third studio album Some Kind of Trouble was released in 2010, followed by Moon Landing (2013) and The Afterlove (2017). In 2019 he published Once Upon A Mind.
