Izzy & The Black Trees is a Poznań-based quartet playing music in which atmospheric Americana and slowcore coexist with post-punk energy. In the sound of the band you can notice raw energy, which evokes associations with Yeah Yeah Yeah, Patti Smith Band or Savages. In 2018, they released their debut EP, where guitar riffs meet with a slightly quieter, ballad-like version of the band. The single Picasso’s Octopuss, which was released in the fall of 2019, presented their fiercer, stronger face. The album Trust No One was released on April 7, 2020.
