Ireneusz Loth
Ireneusz Loth is one of the pioneering Polish metal drummers. At the time when the world's bands were dressing up in equipment and going on world tours, he was building Kat - a legendary band, struggling with the grey reality of communist Poland. Loth founded KAT together with Piotr Luczyk at the turn of 1979 and 1980. The band went through perturbations and personnel changes, but Loth took part in recording every album. Later, he played in the formation Kat & Roman Kostrzewski, until its activity ended due to the death of the celebrated vocalist.
