The Institute of Visual Arts UJK in Kielce transmits knowledge, develops skills and social competences necessary for artistic and design work, prepares for active participation in contemporary culture, taking up work as a visual artist, a designer in various areas of economy. It conducts scientific research in the field of fine arts, art and art theory, which constitute the individual's artistic and intellectual potential, allow to improve the quality of education. In addition, through organized exhibitions, creative workshops in institute galleries and outside the unit, it plays an important role in the social and cultural life of Kielce, Świętokrzyskie region.
