Vontier's musical journey began in the early 2000s, when he bought a cheap drum machine and started creating beats in his bedroom. Around 2013 he released his first tracks as Iñigo Vontier, which were full of cosmic sounds and rough beats.
Meanwhile, he has releases with many international labels such as Turbo Recordings, Correspondant, Her Majesty's Ship, Lumiere Noire and My Favorite Robot under his belt.
In recent years he has been on a steady rise in the international scene receiving support by renowned artists. In 2017, he collaborated with Red Axes, with their track played at a Dior fashion show. It was also in 2017, Vontier started his own record label, Calypso Records, alongside Thomass Jackson, promoting Latin artists on vinyl.
