Ida the Young
Ida The Young is a five-piece band that stands out for its intimate, straightforward vocals and captivating lyrics, as well as its colourful instrumentation, in which they are not afraid to blend genres. Their music straddles the boundaries of alternative rock, folk and electronic music, but with every release they explore new possibilities for songwriting and the combination of electronic elements and live instrumentation.
Following several singles and EPs, they released their debut full-length album Tell Me When You Pass The Sun (Korobushka Records) in 2025, for which they received the Anděl and Apollo awards. Their forthcoming album, Seeing In Reverse (Day After Records), captures the band at their most intense and experimental. They have played over 200 gigs across Europe, including major festivals both at home and abroad (Beseda u Bigbítu, Colours of Ostrava, Rock for People, Sharpe, MENT Ljublana).
