Ibrahim Maalouf is a French-Lebanese trumpeter and composer who is one of the leading figures in contemporary music. In his work, he blends jazz, classical music, pop, electronic music, and elements of Middle Eastern and African music. Throughout his career, he has released numerous albums, performed in more than 40 countries, and collaborated with artists such as Wynton Marsalis, Sting, and Jon Batiste. He has won several awards and has been nominated for a Grammy twice. His current project, T.O.M.A. (Trumpets of Michel-Ange), combines traditional musical elements with a modern approach and an emphasis on international collaboration.
