Hunger Pangs
Hunger Pangs consists of Marek Kądziela (guitar), the author of most of the composition and founder, Tomek Dąbrowski (trumpet) and Kasper Tom Christiansen (drums). The musicians met at the Carl Nielsen Academy of Music in Odense (Denmark). The common denominator of their longstanding relationship is the music business that started in 2006, which continues today. The band's work, although anchored in the jazz mould, is an example of how breakneck melodic structures and uncompromising syncretism can exist together; there is room for both sonorist influences and modern electronics. Hunger Pangs have two studio albums to their name, the most recent being II from 2020.
