Hum'drum

Hum'drum is a new, solo electronic project by Paweł Odzimka, a Poznań-based producer who lends his own sounds in electronic-instrumental NOHONO band every day. The most important role in it plays a soft, synthetic harmony enclosed by a strong impact and organic rhythmic layers, interspersed with a hospitably appearing spatial vocal. All elements gradually guide the listener through extensive compositions, introducing a state of surreal isolation. Until now, the material was released pre-premiere in the broadcast Duszne Granie on the waves of the Poznań Radio Afera, where it was compared to the works of artists such as Four Tet, Jon Hopkins and Floating Points. Live acents in different corners of Poland resulted in invitations to perform alongside artists such as Christian Loffler or Worakls. The project has been arranged in an instrumental version, where in addition to a live voice, string and keyboard instruments also appear.
