Hudson Mohawke
Ross Matthew Birchard, better known as Hudson Mohawke, is a Scottish DJ and producer active since the late 2000s, who has played an influential role in shaping today's electronic dance music scene, both through solo output and as part of the duo TNGHT. His unique and wide style blending trap and electronic music influences is characterized by unconventional rhythms, vibrant synthesizer work, and quirky experimentation and has left a lasting impact on a whole decade of EDM. A relevant portion of his creative output is composed of collaborations with prominent figures in hip hop, electronic music, and beyond, including Ye, Pusha T, Drake, ASAP Rocky, Danny Brown, Anohni, Oneohtrix Point Never, and Danny L Harle. Some may also recognize Hudson Mohawke for his 2011 track Cbat, which gained popularity as a viral music meme in 2022, or even the 2017 appearance in Twin Peaks: The Return as a roadhouse performer.
