House of Saint Laurent
Founded in 2012 by Mother Leo, the House of Saint Laurent (formerly House of Melody) originally originated in New York in 1982.
Through a constant presence and building a local community, the House has established itself as a leading force for ballroom culture and voguing in Berlin and Germany in recent years. The house is frequently invited as a guest lecturer or guest organizer to curate cultural events as well as performances featuring Ballroom or Voguing. References include the Bode Museum Berlin, Schloß Solitude Stuttgart, the Deutsche Hygiene Museum Dresden, HAU, Schauspielhaus Düsseldorf, Tanzhaus NRW and Radialsystem Berlin. Likewise, the house carries its message to the outside world and meets with great interest in the press and media, including VOGUE Germany, Monopol Magazine, FAQ Frankfurt Quarterly, Zeit Online and Nylon Magazine.
