Hörspiel Slam To Go

The Gardens of the World: An enchanting place between Renaissance and Korean garden, oriental courtyard and the prefab skyline of Marzahn on the horizon. During this wonderful walk, visitors* hear poetry slam and comedy at the unique "Radio Play Slam To Go" tour, spoken live by the artists of the Berlin Kiezpoeten: The radio headphones enrich the voices with sound effects and soundscapes, just like in a radio play. It is as if you were in the middle of the stories as you stroll through the gardens.

With only 40 guests, the "Hörspiel Slam To Go" is one of the most intimate live readings in the city: you rarely get this close to the artists. A bit of live audio play, a bit of poetry slam, a bit of guided Sunday drive through the gardens. The perfect afternoon and evening outing. And: admission to the Gardens of the World is included, of course.

How does the Slam To Go work? The meeting point is at the main entrance, where visitors can take their tickets right past the ticket office to the headphones counter. The event starts promptly at 17:00, and the hosts explain in an entertaining way where to walk past – from the Renaissance Garden to the Oriental Garden. In between, the audience will get live poetry from Germany's most successful poetry slammers, accompanied by radio play effects directly to their headphones. After the show, visitors can enjoy the evening in the gardens as the sun sets.
