Horažďovice château
The Chateau Horažďovice is located at Mírové náměstí 11, Horažďovice.
Originally a Gothic fortress later rebuilt into a chateau with Renaissance and Baroque elements. The sightseeing route consists of the castle premises, the town museum, seasonal exhibitions and, since June 2009, the newly opened interactive handicraft workshop Back to Traditions, where visitors can try out old crafts from Pošumava. During the summer, concerts, theatre and film productions are also held in the castle grounds. The Tourist Information Centre is located here.
