Hollywood Undead

Hollywood Undead is an American musical group formed in 2005 in Los Angeles, California. The band combines elements of rap, rock, and hip hop, and its members use stage pseudonyms and masks as part of the band’s visual identity.

The group emerged after releasing early material on the MySpace platform, which led to the band’s formal formation. The band’s history includes several lineup changes; the original members were replaced over time, and the current active members are J-Dog, Funny Man, Johnny 3 Tears, Charlie Scene, and Danny.

Hollywood Undead’s discography begins with the debut studio album Swan Songs, released in 2008. Subsequent studio albums include American Tragedy (2011), Notes from the Underground (2013), Day of the Dead (2015), and Five (2017). In 2020, the band released a pair of albums, New Empire, Vol. 1 and New Empire, Vol. 2. New Empire, Vol. 2 was released in December 2020 as a continuation of Vol. 1.

The following studio album is Hotel Kalifornia, which was released in August 2022 through Dove & Grenade Media and BMG as the band’s eighth studio album. Hotel Kalifornia includes the singles Chaos, Wild in These Streets, and City of the Dead, and was later expanded with a deluxe edition accompanied by additional singles, including Evil and Salvation.

Since the release of Hotel Kalifornia, the band has continued its musical activities and live performances. In 2025, Hollywood Undead performed at festivals including Louder Than Life. In 2026, their participation has been announced at several music festivals, such as Rock im Park, Rock am Ring, and Download Festival.

The band’s current work and activities include the release of individual songs, music videos, and live performances. In 2025, the band released the new single Hollywood Forever.
