Hear Me! 2024

Hear Me! 2024 is the 12th edition of the traveling festival of free improvisation and other music.

The Hear Me! festival presents current trends in sonic arts and offers a diverse program including sound performances, experimental electronic musicians, participatory sound walks, and lectures.

Thematically, the festival is centered around the concept of Proudění (Streaming), where the curatorial team focuses on revealing hidden environments and soundscapes through radio art, DIY culture, and the analog nature of radio signals as a counterpoint to our online lives. For one weekend in October, the event will connect radio enthusiasts, experimental sound artists, and the public interested in DIY culture and alternative music.

The festival is organized by the phonon association and is supported by Veřejný sál Hraničář, Bludný kámen, as part of the Stará síť na novou hudbu project, the Faculty of Art and Design, and with support from the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic and the Czech-German Future Fund.
