Hazlett

Singer, songwriter and musician – but above all, Hazlett is a storyteller. The Australian-born, Stockholm-based multi-instrumentalist began his career as a touring musician as well as a ghostwriter, preferring to stay behind the scenes and out of the limelight. It wasn't until one of his original tracks was discovered by his close friend and producer Freddy Alexander that his own solo project was born in a Stockholm studio.

For Hazlett, songwriting is a form of therapy and an expression for his sensitive soul. So far, Hazlett has released two EPs and toured Australia and Europe. Then, at the start of the 2020 pandemic, he made the decision to stop everything, hunker down and work quietly on his first album. The singles Please Don't Be, Even If It's Lonely and My Skin were released in 2023.

Hazlett's EP – titled Goodbye to the Valley Low – was released in early December 2023. Produced by his longtime collaborator Freddy Alexander and recorded at a cabin on the west coast of Sweden, Goodbye to the Valley Low is a return to his musical roots.
