Hatti Vatti
Hatti Vatti is a Tricity-based electronic music producer, associated with MOST, ROHS!, U Know Me Records and R&S Records. One half of the HV/NOON, Nanook of the North or JANKA duos. He plays regularly in clubs from Iceland to Japan, his numbers have been remixed by the legendary Andy Stott, for example, and his sets have featured Mike Schommer of DeepChord. In his bass-heavy sets, he combines his fascination for danceable electronica with a fierce search for unusual sounds. After releasing three full-length albums, Hatti Vatti returned with the breathtaking sounds of Zeit, released on Belgian-English R&S Records. The nine-track longplayer with Rafal Dutkiewicz (Skalpel, Brodka) on drums, Pawel Stachowiak (EABS, Mud, Siema Ziemia) on bass and Piotr Chęcki (Jaskułke Sextet, Nene Heroine, Wojtek Mazolewski Quintet) on saxophone is a collection of eclectic compositions that elude genre classification, with echoes of the Japanese ambient, krautrock, jazz and dub scene.
