Who thought that rim shots, fuzz and full stacks can only bring noise and nothing else thought wrong. The trio Gorm from Rostock manages to direct this brute force into hypnotic paths. Heavy riffs that try to crush one, switch to more dreamy, almost soft parts without distracting from the actual direction. It is probably just this direction that drives the tension in the songs, builds up sprawling walls of sound and brings them down with energetic, epic riffs again. Now that the three recorded their first record, the guys from Gorm take their fans on an instrumental journey into psychedelic worlds. Live, the band delivers a distinctive sound – big, loud and groovy.
