Body, building, land. All with a history. All with their own rhythm. Each with their own effect on each other. Ponec is a theatre in Prague standing on bedrock shaped by the Vltava River 20,000 years ago. A river that is now 1 kilometre away. Tereza has been dancing on that bedrock in Ponec for 25 years. The first solo she danced there was to a symphonic poem of the Vltava River. The choreography researched for Geo is a topography of all of these players and layers.
Temporary Collective
Temporary Collective is a performance making group. Temporary Collective is dancer Tereza Ondrová and theatre director Petra Tejnorová. It is a duo, bringing together a team of creatives from various disciplines to make performances and encounters with the public. Their artistic process is built through dialog and in response to what challenges them, ranging in topics from sustainability, dealing with loss and geographic narrative, while also exploring the humorful and heartfelt. They are temporary because they do not hold fixed beliefs, preferring to welcome change and to practise reinvention and relations with the unknown.
