Villa Bílek

Bilek's villa, which is administered by the City Gallery of Prague, is not only unique because of the permanent exhibition of works of sculptor Frantisek Bilek, but also because of its architecture. Frantisek Bilek, a famous Czech sculptor and graphic artist, built villa during the years 1910–1911 by his own plans. Villa Bilek itself illustrates the idea of ​​corn fields. An unconventional layout of the building is derived from the track of the scythes. The walls of the cutting walls are divided by massive pillars depicting sheaves ears. The interiors of the villa also includs Bilak's furniture.
