Galeria Tymczasem

The Tymczasem comics and illustration gallery started its activity in April 2013 and is a place where Polish and foreign comic artists are regularly exhibited. The works on display are exhibited both in traditional form (originals on the walls) and in large format (prints). New comic strip or spatial forms specially arranged for the exhibition space are also created. The gallery is located in the interiors of the Zamek Cultural Centre. In August 2014, the Tymczasem Comics Reading Room was also opened as a complement to the Gallery's activities. The Reading Room's collection is successively supplemented with the latest publications related to comics and illustration in the broadest sense—comics books, art books, picture books, graphic novels. The Reading Room is a venue for comics meetings and workshops related to comics and fantasy.
