Frieder Burda Salon
In fall 2016 and related to a generational change, the Museum Frieder Burda has opened the project and showroom Salon Berlin in one of the most vibrant art districts in Berlin. Under the leadership of Patricia Kamp and in close collaboration with the museum, the Salon Berlin offers exhibitions and shows highlights of the Frieder Burda Collection, which are brought into dynamic tension with current contemporary art.
The salon Berlin ist not only a showroom of art, but a place for exchange and cultural discussions, aiming to promote and covey new artistic expressions. Each exhibition is put into thematical and aesthetic context, which consequently influences the character and design of the Salon itself.
