František Bartoš Regional Library is the largest public library in the Zlín Region – it has half a million documents in its collection. It organizes cultural and educational events for schools and the public, including discussions, lectures, readings, music programs, exhibitions and competitions for adults and children.
The library is named after František Bartoš (1837–1906), who was born in Mladcová near Zlín. František Bartoš was a teacher, linguist and ethnographer.
