Francis Tuan + Eliza A.Tkacz

Eliza A. Tkacz and Francis Tuan will perform on the stage in TU. Eliza A. Tkacz lives and works in Łódź, where she graduated from a music school in the piano class. She writes lyrics, composes and produces music, arranges word and music, plays keyboards and sings. Pozamusic interest in image and animation as well as science and technology. Until now, she has presented her productions mainly in the Internet space, where she took the challenge of synergically combining all her interests. She directs and produces music videos, and her compositions are usually conceptual works. He is inspired by Scandinavian music, natural painting and artistic photography. By some, she is compared to Björk because of her voice tone and space in music. Three singles were released in 2018: Believing in silence (Home), Swan and Until Death Do Us Part, which are conceptual triptychs. Francis Tuan has Polish-Vietnamese roots. This can be clearly heard in his songs, which clash electric, independent pop with oriental sounds, which are a characteristic feature of his style. He draws inspiration for his sometimes ironic lyrics from urban life, trying to strip them of their artificiality and pretence. Francis Tuan is a multi-instrumentalist. On stage, he uses looping technique that allows him to combine the sounds of guitar, synthesizer and ethnic wonders from Vietnam. This original mixture was appreciated by the listeners of the EP Poems released in 2017, as well as by the audience of festivals such as Open'er Festival, Halfway Festival, Slot Art Festival, or Opole Songwriters Festival.
