Franc Moody

Franc Moody is a London-based disco-electronic-radio collective. The collective is led by the two masterminds Ned Franc and Jon Moody. Like Daft Punk or Jamiroquai, Franc Moody make use of genres such as funk, disco and soul and skillfully mix them with new electronic sounds. As befits a DIY band, Franc Moody also converts items such as salt shakers, cans or Tabasco bottles into instruments.

It all started in 2014, when a group of young musicians and artists, including Ned and Jon, occupied an abandoned warehouse in North London. The warehouse uses the two to host numerous warehouse parties. Soon, the underground parties became a hot spot with DJs and live bands playing until the early morning. Inspired by the Warehouse Parties and their DIY mentality, Ned and Jon began to produce their first own songs. In 2016, Jon and Ned released their first own EP. It was followed by several singles and finally their debut album Dance Moves, which was released in March last year.
