Musical workshops for children at 3–6 (7) years of age

The programme is a combination of a workshop and a concert. In the first part, children will hear something about the harp and learn to dance to the song Sur le pont d’Avignon. The second part will feature interesting discussion about the harp. Graphic demonstrations of harp playing and techniques alternate with brief compositions, during which the children will learn to listen with concentration to classical music, how to behave during concerts etc.

How much does a harp weigh? And how many strings does it have? How many fingers do you need to play the harp? And do you know that the harp can make lots of magical sounds? The harpist Jana Boušková will show you everything. And with the accompaniment of the harp, we will even go dancing on the bridge of Avignon!

Duration of the programme: 50 min
Lecturers: Veronika Lucassen and harpist Jana Boušková
