The aim of the classes is to familiarize children with the world of sounds we influence together through our voice and free spontaneous movement. There is a lot of singing and movement in the classroom. Children are introduced to different modal scales, rhythmic spheres, tricuspid and bipartite metres, as well as unusual rhythms. During the classes, R. Laban’s improvised movement method is used, which is why they are accompanied by colourful scarves, balls, soap bubbles, which stimulate children to move spontaneously.
Thanks to music classes, parents can observe increased fluency of speech and better diction in their children. Children more and more willingly and freely create the first words, rhythmize, sing, improvise. Moreover, children are able to maintain concentration for longer, which has an impact on their intellectual development. Classes according to Gordon’s theory have a rich melodic and rhythmic dictionary, help in better coordination of the body in working with music. Above all, they are a great pleasure and fun for children and adults.
