Special edition of Folk Metal Night for this year's Dziady. Three bands with different approaches to reinterpretation of Slavic music influences will present themselves this evening in Voodoo.

Runika is a Warsaw band with charismatic female vocals, playing folk inspired melodies in a strong metal setting. On stage, they combine mysticism with the energy of the four elements, taking the listeners to the times of epic battles, feasts by the bonfire, mysteries enchanted in statues and extraordinary beings hiding in the woods. In July 2018 they released their debut album Pradawna moc. Cronica's music does not revolve around just one genre: folk. It is a peculiar mixture of different styles characterizing particular regions. Cronica is a group of seven people who bring their individual sense of folklore to the band, so that the music they create is not a stunt and often juxtaposes very different styles from many folk traditions. The band combines heavy guitar sounds with instruments that reflect the atmosphere of medieval ballads, sailing songs, novels, legends and other folk songs. Czarny Bez, the last band to be heard this evening, combines influences of Slavic folk music and postapocalyptic science fiction themes. They create a musical journey to the roots, to stories outside school books, to reflect on the contemporary world and stories about the Slavic spirit, bravery and courage.
