Filterheadz is the name of the Belgian DJského and producer duo playing techno. Members of the group are brothers Bert and Maarten Wilmers. The first step in their musical career in the mid-80th years performing in bands playing pop. Bert’s featured with a guitar, a drummer Maarten. Their designs were the then groups such as U2, The Police, and Simple Minds and the influence of these bands can be observed in their work today.
After a series of pop, rock, heavy metal, and rhythm and blues projects with not too much success fell on the field of electronic dance music. The first remixes of the songs were musicians like Roger Sanchez, Masters at Work and David Morales. It also identified their primary focus on American house scene.
