Lednice|Valtice Music Festival 2019

Lednice|Valtice Music Festival 2019 combines classical music with the unique architectural heritage of the Liechtenstein family in a special manner – all within the Lednice–Valtice area and the surrounding regions. LVHF, which is held in September/October on annual basis, not only returns to the popular places (Valtice Castle, Chateau Lednice, Temple of Diana – Rendez-vous), but also experiments with a reminds of the new Liechtenstein places for its visitors (churches in Velké Bílovice, Poštorná and Katzelsdorf, Wilfersdorf Castle, Chateau Mikulov…). The information about the architecture of venues is contained in the festival brochure, which is offered to the visitors of the festival. LVHF is regularly visited by the numerous guests of honour – representatives of the government institutions, culture houses, majors from the Lednice–Valtice area and, by all means, classical music lovers, who do not hesitate to come from faraway. The events themselves are characterized by a combination of the prominent musical artists and the sophisticated programme, and therefore contribute to the mutual-cultural meetings of the people from the Czech Republic, Austria and Slovakia.

The programmes of the LVHF 2019 events will remind the kapellmeisters and composers connected with the Liechtenstein family, which was relevant in the South Moravia region for 700 years.
